Foundations of Medical Terminology
Individual · Multiple-choice written test
What is this event?
A written test event where you show how well you can read and understand the language of healthcare — the prefixes, roots and suffixes that build medical words.
What you actually do
You take a timed multiple-choice test. Questions ask you to break apart medical words, match word parts to meanings, and pick the right term for a described condition or procedure.
What happens at competition
You report to the testing room at your assigned time, put away devices, and complete the test within the posted time limit. Top scorers advance; ties are broken by the published tie-breaker procedure.
Why students choose it
Studying is easy to fit into short daily sessions, progress is easy to measure, and the vocabulary helps in every other health science event you ever enter.
